Editorial governance

How Dubai Gateways researches, writes, reviews and corrects content.

This policy protects original global publishing, source transparency, clear service boundaries and the distinction between evidence, analysis and general guidance.

General information and initial coordination only. Authority decisions remain independent.

What the policy covers

All commercial, guide and analysis content

The policy applies to pillar pages, service guidance, area pages, evergreen guides, market reports, analysis and trust content on dubaigateways.com. The UK website may inform topic classification only; its content is not copied into the global site.

Global-first content

Every page is written for an international audience

Content must answer a distinct global question in its own structure and language. A UK article is migrated only when the content matrix justifies a global rewrite or merge. UK-specific pages remain on the UK site. Thin variations and mass area pages are not published.

Evidence hierarchy

Prefer official and primary sources

Changeable UAE requirements are checked against the relevant authority or official government portal. Real-estate transaction and service facts should prioritise Dubai Land Department. School information should prioritise KHDA. Residence information should prioritise ICP or GDRFA as appropriate. Developer material can confirm project facts but is not independent evidence of returns.

Service and outcome boundaries

No guaranteed approvals or returns

Content must not guarantee visa, residence, Golden Residency or business-licence approval; market price, rental, occupancy or investment return; or authority processing time. Company setup and residence content describes initial guidance and specialist coordination only.

Quality workflow

Intent, source, compliance and presentation checks

Intent review

Is the question distinct and useful?

Evidence review

Are changeable claims supported by current primary sources?

Compliance review

After publication

Correct material errors transparently

Confirmed errors should be corrected promptly. The page’s reviewed date should change, and a correction note should be added when the original statement could materially affect a decision. A user can report a concern through the contact page, identifying the URL, disputed claim and supporting source.

Official sources

Verify current requirements

Sources reviewed on 24 August 2026. Requirements and service channels can change; confirm the exact route with the relevant authority before acting.
